The Rosebank Distillery - 'Grace' 21 Years Whisky
Who makes it
Rosebank Distillery is a lost distillery that has been closed for over 20 years. 'The Roses' is a range from the distillery that is highly sought after and extremely rare. Grace is one four in the collection that has been released, one of the seven which will be released over the next seven years. I am a big fan of lowland whisky as it disproves the idea that all whisky is peaty and heavy!
Flavour
Each in the series showcases a different flavor profile of the distillery. Grace has sweet aromas of white chocolate, candied lemon peel and sugared almonds fill the nose, alongside creamy porridge, damp grass and spring flowers. The palate offers notes of richly spiced sponge cake, cinnamon-baked apples and poached pears, with hints of anise, polished oak and buttery toast.

Field Notes
This bottle is a perfect addition to any whisky collection, I am a big fan of lowland whisky as it disproves the idea that all whisky is peaty and heavy! Lowland whisky is known for the grassier and floral characteristics, with more delicate and subtle flavours. Rosebank is one of the purest representations of focusing on delicate flavors over brute smokiness. I was only able to source one bottle of this magnificent whisky, so you're a lucky buyer if you're able to get your hands on this!
